A project schedule is an important tool for planning and managing the work on a construction project. To promote project success, it is critical that the schedule used on your project adheres to the fundamental elements of a quality schedule and represents a realistic plan for achieving key project milestones. In this presentation, you will learn what the fundamental elements of a quality schedule are, in addition to the ways in which a construction manager can assess these elements through use of forensic scheduling tools and other methods. This presentation will also provide guidance on detecting the common techniques a contractor may use to manipulate the schedule in order to mask poor progress and delays over the course of the project.
